The Information Management and Information Technology team is looking for enthusiastic Executive Assistant to join their team as they continue to lead the digital transformation strategies and enables core service delivery to support improved health and wellness of BC First Nations.

Title: Executive Assistant
Salary: $74,663 - $93,328 -$102,660 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours, 8:00am- 4:30pm, 30 min lunch (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Coast Salish Territories: Metro Vancouver: Sinclair office – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

About the role
As Executive Assistant, you will provide co-ordination, administration, facilitation, office management support, and technical support for the Vice President of IMIT & CIO, Directors and Management Teams. You will contribute to the development and implementation of plans, systems, processes and procedures essential for effective and efficient operations. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with internal and external clients and partners and uses independent judgment in resolution of routine and non-routine responsibilities to ensure high quality administrative and office support.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have-

Education

  • A diploma in business/office administration, plus 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including support at VP level, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Experience

  • Experience in a senior administration capacity, supporting VP level or higher positions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations
  • Experience working with Senior and Executive level management
  • Experience responding to client/public enquiries and complaints
  • Experience in budget oversight and management
  • Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the FNHA, and its structure and inter-dependencies
  • Knowledge of information, records and data management approaches and options

Competencies

  • Demonstrated senior administrative skills and abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including the ability to multi-task and set priorities effectively

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
