Store and Warehouse Parts Administrator Located in Greely Ontario
Job description:
· Source and acquire parts for a diverse line of specialized and common heavy construction equipment. Being resourceful, diligent and creative in finding either uncommon or off the shelf parts is an asset.
· Create purchase orders and provide timely, accurate delivery dates as an essential and critical part of the role.
· Experience in the drilling industry, construction industry or a related industry would be considered an asset.
· Demonstrate strong inventory control and stock keeping capabilities to ensure that parts and supplies are readily available.
· Maintain accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing stock.
· Monitor and prepare purchase orders and packing slips for all parts and equipment going out for repair.
· Monitor and book maintenance on our fleet of light trucks
· Order parts from work orders, assist in processing sales orders and managing stock levels.
· Interact with maintenance staff to take on various tasks.
· Supervise warehouse staff and provide training as needed.
· Demonstrate strong inventory control and stock keeping capabilities to ensure that supplies are readily available. Maintain records of warehouse transactions and generate reports.
· Order, stock and disperse Personal Protective Equipment to staff.
· Knowledge of COR principles would be considered an asset while ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols in the warehouse. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
· Ability to work independently and in a team with other personnel to demonstrate support and ensure parts and equipment are available for production
· Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and material
· Ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment. Coordinate shipments, liaising with suppliers and shipping carriers.
Requirements:
· Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
· Dependable
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Excellent oral communication, English language mandatory, French considered an asset
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Class G license
· Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
