Description The enterprise analyst will be part of the evolution of the analyst community and will be expected to have enterprise understanding and impact assessment rather than only line of business specific. This role will be reporting to sales and marketing, operations, finance, or CRM function where exposure to complex business problems leads to highly coordinated and time-sensitive projects and will manage incoming requests. This role will ensure direct communication with clients, managers, and leadership on stages of projects alongside keeping the audience informed. Additionally, the analyst will develop and adhere to informal service level agreements, collaborate, and negotiate reasonable timelines for the client/team and initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for using advanced analytics for solving business problems including but not limited to linking financial, client, operations, and other transactional datasets that drive the current and future business opportunities forward.
  • Works with various business units to understand the need, opportunities, and pain points, designs, develops, implements, and maintains business solutions.
  • Responsible for managing incoming requests, committing, and communicating directly with the client, manager, and leadership during the stages of the project and keeping the audience informed.
  • Provide project support to corporate initiatives from other departments that need representation from Enterprise Analytics to develop a vital capability.
  • Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.
  • Works directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.
  • Relies on instructions from the supervisor for pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Develops and maintains datasets, business rules, reports, and corporate dashboards, to support regular reporting, monitoring, analyses, and decision-making.
  • Responsible for regular sharing of insight and impact of analysis and or projects with crisp and clear stories that warrant action.
  • Develops and adheres to informal service level agreements, collaborating and negotiating timelines that make sense for the client/ team and initiative.

Education

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in commerce, computer science, management engineering, or data science specialty.
  • Specialization within Security would be considered an asset.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Specialized courses or certificates from the Big Data/Data management program.
  • A certificate in Quality/Business Analysis is an asset.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience is an asset.
  • QlikView designer + developer certificate.
  • Knowledge of Minitab, R, SAS, or other statistical tools is considered beneficial.
  • Has hands-on experience with data preparation, statistical analysis, diagnostics, data analysis, and insights generation.
  • Experience with PowerBI reporting.
  • Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets including SAP, Salesforce, Teradata, Call Centre data, Verint, Financials, and/or other database systems /datasets.
  • Experience working with OKTA.
  • Ability to provide the best business response or solution.
  • Ability to demonstrate collaboration, and a sense of analyst community among their peers and help contribute to the culture of the organization.
  • Excellent written/ verbal communication.
