Summary
As a Management Trainee at Pioneer Youth Services, you will embark on a dynamic career path within our organization. This role is designed to develop your leadership skills while providing you with hands-on experience in managing residential treatment operations. You will play a vital role in supporting our mission to improve the lives of young individuals.
Following successful completion of the 6 month training program you will be offered full time employment with benefits. $23.00 per hour plus $3.00 per hour from the government Wage Enhancement Program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of daily operations within residential treatment homes.
- Support the development and implementation of programs tailored to meet the needs of children and youth.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality care and support for residents.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance leadership and management skills.
- Monitor program budgets and assist in financial planning activities.
- Engage with families and community resources to promote positive outcomes for residents.
Requirements
- Strong leadership potential with a passion for working with youth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of budgeting principles is an asset.
- Previous experience in a related field or volunteer work with youth is preferred.

- DCS / DEC (preferred)
Experience:
- working with youth: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- G Driver's License (required)
