Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently recruiting an Electrical Panel Assembler to join our team at either of our offices located in Port Coquitlam and Kelowna. enCompass Solutions Group services customers in a variety of markets, including Ports and Terminals, Industrial (Metals, Paper, Chemical, Mining), General Industry (Automotive, Manufacturing), Utility (Power Plants, Water and Wastewater), Marine, Oil and Gas, Mining, and others.

What You'll Be Doing

The duties of the Electrical Panel Assembler include but are not limited to:

• Assembly and wiring of electrical panels
• Work safely and efficiently with various hand and power tools such as screw drivers, drills, jig saw, manual and automated Ferrule Crimper.
• Mount and wire electrical components i.e terminal blocks, control relays, circuit breakers, VFD’s, PLC’s, HMI’s and power supplies.
• Wire electrical panel components following wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Assist in the testing and certification of electrical panels.
• Reviewing bill of materials to ensure all components are available prior to assembly.
• Adhere to the company processes as detailed in enCompass operating system and brings forward ideas for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace
• Perform tasks involving physical labour

Who You Are

If you are the ideal candidate, you function well in a fast-paced environment and take pride in being meticulous and thorough. The following are requirements needed to be successful in this role:

• Familiar with electrical circuits and electrical schematics
• 2 years of panel assembling experience
• Highly detail oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently as required
• Experience with AutoCAD is an asset
• Must be able to use both hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, stand for long periods of time, and repeat the same motions. Must also be able to push, pull and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
