Position Overview
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Community Growth Manager to scale user acquisition, activation, and retention by leveraging Filmora’s creator community. You’ll turn contributors into advocates, build creator-led growth loops, and help shape how community drives product adoption.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Community-Led Growth Strategy
- Design and execute scalable strategies to drive user acquisition, activation, and retention through the creator ecosystem.
- Build and manage community-led growth loops (e.g., refer-a-creator, creator cohorts, campaign-based momentum building).
- Turn creators into advocates by developing tiered programs and community paths (e.g., Filmora Ambassadors, Super Creators).
2. Contributor Lifecycle Design
- Oversee contributor onboarding and education, ensuring new creators understand our tools, incentives, and growth programs.
- Analyze friction points across the creator journey and lead experiments to improve onboarding, engagement, and retention.
3. Campaigns & Community Activation
- Plan and execute high-impact events such as content challenges, referral sprints, and co-creation opportunities.
- Own the strategy and execution of Discord-based engagement and support structures.
- Collaborate with Content and Influencer teams to co-create and distribute UGC for brand amplification.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Product and Data to align community touchpoints with product-led growth strategies.
- Surface insights from the community to inform roadmap decisions and experience improvements.
- Advocate for the voice of the creator internally, balancing community needs with business goals.
5. Measurement & Optimization
- Define and track KPIs related to community contribution, activation, and growth.
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks with the Data team to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform iteration.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in community growth, creator programs, product marketing, or lifecycle marketing — ideally within consumer tech or creator-focused platforms.
- Proven track record of scaling community programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of creator ecosystems (YouTube, TikTok, Discord, etc.) and the psychology of content creators.
- Experience running community operations at scale, including gamification, segmentation, and retention design.
- Highly collaborative and strategic, with experience working across Marketing, Product, and Data teams.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience with community platforms like Discord, Reddit, or Circle.
- Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency is a strong asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
