About the role
We’re seeking a Head of ETRM Systems to lead and evolve our enterprise trading platforms, ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality from trading platforms, ensuring seamless end-to-end function trade capture to settlement . You’ll oversee a team of business analysts and IT professionals supporting areas like:
- Commodity Portfolio Management
- Risk & Credit
- Settlements & Complex Accounting
- Compliance & Legal
- Managed Portfolios & Offsets (MP&O)
This role reports directly to the CIO , and is key to both strategic leadership and hands-on execution .
🛠 What You’ll Do:
✔ Lead ETRM application support and enhancement
✔ Ensure high availability, system performance & user satisfaction
✔ Manage budgets, teams, metrics, and continuous improvement
✔ Drive innovation in commodity and risk systems ( Allegro preferred)
✔ Act as a bridge between IT and Trading , Risk, and Finance teams
👤 What You Bring:
✅ Extensive years in ETRM or commodity trading tech
✅ Proven leadership in managing enterprise systems and support teams
✅ Expertise in North American Power, Gas, and Emissions markets
✅ Strong understanding of app governance, change & release management
✅ Calm under pressure — you thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments
