About the role
Role Overview:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be a critical bridge between our cutting-edge media products/platforms and our clients' strategic objectives. You will leverage your deep technical understanding and exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business solutions. You will be a trusted advisor to both our clients and our internal sales teams, driving sales success and ensuring client satisfaction through expert technical consultation, solution customization, and impactful product demonstrations. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a proven ability to build strong relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation: serve as a technical expert, providing comprehensive guidance to clients on the optimal use of our products and platforms to achieve their business goals.
- Solution Customization: leverage your understanding of our product ecosystem to craft tailored solutions that address specific client requirements, ultimately influencing client satisfaction and driving adoption.
- Product Demonstrations: deliver engaging and persuasive product demonstrations that showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions, highlighting how they can shape and enable client media strategies.
- Product/Platform Visionary: possess an in-depth understanding of our products and platforms, including their capabilities, limitations, and potential for future enhancements. Effectively align our offerings with client needs and provide valuable input for product development.
- Sales Support: provide expert technical support throughout the sales cycle, from pre-sale inquiries to post-sale implementation, ensuring clarity and alignment. You will spend the majority of your time in sales pitches and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a technical sales role, preferably in a pre-sales capacity. Prior experience as a Sales Engineer is highly valued.
- Technical Proficiency: proven ability to demonstrate and explain technical concepts clearly and concisely. A foundational understanding of technology, architecture, and functionality of products/services is crucial.
- Interpersonal: superior interpersonal skills including ability to influence and partner with both internal senior leaders, and external senior partners - ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Product Knowledge: proven track record in crafting or selling a company's products or services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Strategy: Demonstrated and proactive strategic thinker with the ability to think outside of the box and think critically and creatively to solve technical and business challenges.
