Job Summary

The Room Checker is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, service and public areas meet cleanliness and quality standards. This role involves inspecting cleaned rooms, ensuring compliance with hotel policies.

Responsibilities

· Opening and Closing.

· Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, proper arrangement, and compliance with

hotel standards.

· Verify that all linens, towels, toiletries, and other essentials are properly stocked.

· Provide feedback and guidance to housekeeping staff for improvement.

· Assist in training new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and hotel standards.

· Coordinate with the housekeeping team to address guest requests and preferences.

· Work closely with the front desk to report room readiness status.

· Address and resolve any issues related to room cleanliness or guest complaints.

· Ensure proper stocking of room supplies, mini-bar items, and housekeeping carts.

· Report shortages and request replenishments as needed.

· Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar role preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.

· Good communication and leadership skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Basic knowledge of cleaning products and hotel housekeeping standards.

· Physically able to walk, bend, and lift light objects as needed.
