We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Hunt's Logistics. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients across Canada. Position Details:
· Job Type: Full-time
· Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with operational capabilities.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the logistics or transportation sector.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is an asset but not required.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment.

About Hunt's Logistics
Hunt's Logistics and it's subsidiary, Hunt's Kuka Transport Ltd, an Innu company, are Newfoundland owned transportation and logistics service providers operating throughout North America. With 30 years direct involvement with transportation, total project management, warehousing, logistics, marine transport and supply chain management, our trained team of professionals has extensive experience in handling and managing a broad range of commodities in the oil, gas, mining, industrial, commercial, drilling, and construction fields. We are committed to providing a practical approach.
Our fleet and staff have vast experience in handling truck loads, less than truck loads (LTL), oversize, over dimensional, heavy haul, special delivery, on time, and hot shot freight.
In order to increase our overall customer satisfaction, in 2010, Hunt's introduced barge and rail services to our existing portfolio. Hunt's operates a seasonal barge service between Hamilton, ON and Argentia, NL.
