About the role

Overview The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for assisting in the coordination and supervision of all inventory-related activities daily. Under the direction of the Inventory Control Supervisor, this position ensures accurate inventory management by overseeing cycle counts, slot audits, and reconciliation processes in alignment with company service and cost objectives.

Available Shift : Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Overseas the daily cycle counts, slot audits and the reconciliation of activities between systems
  • Ensures that customer requirements are accurately reported in the timing provided by the customer.
  • Plans, executions and reconcile physical inventories.
  • Prepare analysis of adjustments activities report
  • Research to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Plans and implementation of a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective product is accounted for and properly managed by either dumping, salvaging, or returning to stock.
  • Maintains records to accurately track recouped products and return the saleable product to stock.
  • Make sure that the team meets daily cycle count KPI targets.
  • Provide training and support for team members on inventory processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate inventory management processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for inventory control, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new inventory procedures or technologies.
  • Provide regular reports on inventory status, team performance, and any issues to the management team.
  • Maintain a safe and organized inventory environment, identifying potential hazards or inefficiencies.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in inventory management or warehouse operations
  • Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS systems).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Must have no issues with heights.
  • Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends holidays as needed by the customer.
  • MHE certification is preferred.
