Position Summary:

Under the direction of the supervisor, the incumbent helps prepare applications (grants, chairs, fellowships, awards, prizes, etc.). Tasks include drafting and editing documents, reviewing, labelling, and organizing digital files, data collection and entry, and general administrative support for the Faculty of Law Research Office.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist drafting and editing documents

  2. Reviewing, labelling, and organizing digital files

  3. Data-collection and entry

  4. Support in organizing and running occasional events

  5. Identifying prospective opportunities for research funding and recognition

  6. General administrative support

Other Requirements:

  • Bilingual (French / English) – written and spoken
  • Experience drafting or editing grant and awards applications
  • Computer skills – Excel, Word, Adobe
  • McGill graduate-level student or equivalent preferred

Sous la direction du superviseur, le titulaire aide à préparer les demandes (subventions, chaires, bourses, prix, récompenses, etc.). Ses tâches comprennent la rédaction et la révision de documents, la révision, l'étiquetage et l'organisation de fichiers numériques, la collecte et la saisie de données, ainsi que le soutien administratif général au bureau de recherche de la faculté de droit.
