We are looking for a skilled coach that can assist a gentleman who has just received his Phd from Trent University to find part-time/casual employment in academic circles. We are looking for someone who is a community-minded person, a skilled life/career coach that has experience of assisting someone with the process of networking, taking the steps to position yourself to actively look for employment, to finding employment teaching at the university/college level. You will need strong organizational skills and skills to assist this person to manage the many different aspects of his life and to successfully find part-time employment.

This gentleman and his family are looking for someone who can understand this role and walk beside their son - assisting him as he goes down this new road of employment seeker with the end goal of finding part-time employment.

You will need to live in Peterborough and drive. You will need to already have a good understanding of how jobs in high level academia are obtained.

This is part-time work, with hours of work to be discussed. We will be hiring as quickly as possible once the right candidate is found. You will need a police check with vulnerable sector section.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
