About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain shared flows and common assets for the Apigee platform to ensure consistency and efficiency in API management.
  • Implement new authentication patterns via shared flows to enhance security and streamline API access. (Apigee)
  • Design and implement features such as automated proxy creation through our Internal Developer Platform, optimizing the development workflow.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, assisting them with their API proxies on Apigee to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed assets and tools, ensuring usability and knowledge sharing.
  • Automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce time to market.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of the development pipeline, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Apigee, showcasing the ability to leverage its full capabilities and create reusable assets in Apigee (shared flows) and tools.
  • Proficiency in Java, with strong development skills
  • Significant experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation, demonstrating the ability to optimize the development lifecycle.
  • Experience with OAuth2, ensuring robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance best practices, ensuring all development activities meet required standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, fostering a cooperative and productive working environment.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
