**Senior Project Manager-CSITR (6 Month Contract)

Location: New Westminster, BC / Hybrid

Staffing Placement Opportunity** Project Overview We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects, with a primary focus on enhancing enterprise-level IT security. This role will involve managing full project lifecycles and may also include oversight of additional technology initiatives depending on qualifications and business needs.

The role supports an ongoing cybersecurity transformation program, aimed at modernizing digital security practices, updating architecture, and deploying new secure technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, partners, and external vendors to drive innovation, improve resilience, and meet evolving security threats.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle projects using standardized project management methodology, covering initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closeout.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including project managers, business analysts, solution architects, and technical experts.
  • Develop detailed project plans and ensure proper execution of all aspects, including scope, schedule, risk, quality, communications, and procurement.
  • Oversee technical workstreams such as design, development, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Manage relationships with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Facilitate risk management processes, maintain risk/action/issue/decision (RAID) logs, and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
  • Manage program and project budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement activities.
  • Track project status and report regularly to executive stakeholders, steering committees, and advisory groups.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and support effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Lead organizational change management activities to ensure project outcomes are successfully adopted.

Deliverables

  • Business cases and implementation phase plans
  • Project charters, feasibility documents, and change management plans
  • Comprehensive project management plans (including communication and risk plans)
  • Regular project status reports
  • Steering committee and technical meeting materials (presentations, memos, minutes)
  • Budget forecasts and updates
  • RAID registers (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions)
  • Change requests as needed
  • Project closeout documentation

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of end-to-end project management experience in large-scale systems implementations (on-premises and SaaS)
  • Experience managing projects over $2M with teams of 10+ cross-functional members
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement, with proven ability to communicate at executive levels
  • Solid experience managing risk, change, budget, time, quality, and resource planning
  • Demonstrated success in aligning project strategies with broader program goals
  • Experience delivering technology and business process improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Experience supporting or leading organizational change management (OCM)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity project delivery
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Experience with enterprise security, compliance projects, or digital transformation initiatives is a plus
