Position Overview Under the direction of the Front of House Manager, Shift Supervisor, Dual Shift Supervisor or Outlet Supervisor, the Food runner is responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures within the Casino and for making each guests experience an enjoyable and positive one:
- Keep work stations clean and sanitary at all times
- Make sure all condiments, cutlery, plate-ware and other serving tools are ready for service
- Maintain the “to go” stations with containers and cutlery packets, wipes and bags
- Assist servers and bartenders by carrying their food orders out to seated or “to go customers”
- Organize food orders as they are placed on the window ready for delivery to the restaurant or bars by self or servers
- Wait for Line Lead to acknowledge the table is complete
- Communicate to the Line Lead any unsatisfactory presentation or missing items
- Spike chits when food orders leave the line
- Communicate with on duty porters in regards to maintain the dirty dish, recycling and garbage areas.
Education And Experience
- The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment. Specific Casino food and beverage experience would be an asset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to promote, maintain and deliver impeccable service standards at all times.
