Summary of Senior Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Financial Services industry and receive training by one of the most successful advisory offices in Canada. The candidate needed is a self-starter with the drive to succeed and impress. This person is intelligent, has excellent English skills, organizational skills, and is detail-oriented. It is preferred that they have industry knowledge, are familiar with Salesforce (database system), and have math skills. The candidate is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The person with a natural ability to research issues and follow through to bring closure to them will work well in this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with exceptional customer service, promptly resolving complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Execute trades (mutual funds, stocks, ETFs, bonds, etc.)
- Request and review reports (Daily Order Entry, Daily Trade Blotters)
- Reconcile transfers and bank deposits
- Prepare account documentation (KYC/NAAF) as required
- Assist advisor with client meetings & sign up prospects
- Maintain high service standards according to compliance regulations
- Frequently assigned to changing priorities
- Aids in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, both within a company as well as with outside clients
Experience and Qualifications:
Experience
- Industry experience would be beneficial
Education/Training
- University degree or College diploma
- Financial related degree/education would be beneficial
- Mutual Fund or IIROC licensed preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of industry back-office practices
- Smart, professional, motivated, and likeable
Skills/Abilities
- Customer service skills
- PC proficient (I.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Math skills
- Punctual, meticulous, and reliable
Working Conditions:
- Great space to work with lots of light & windows
- Free parking
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2025-06-30
