Nail Technician Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nail services while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Sanitate all tools and equipment before and after each client to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring client satisfaction during their visit.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and techniques.
- Maintain an organized workstation and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Nail Technician license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and products.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in body waxing is a plus but not mandatory.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for beauty and aesthetics.
- Proficiency of builder gel, BIAB and gel polish application is required.
- Proficiency in classic nail techniques, including French tips, is required.
- Proficiency in simple nail art designs, chrome and gemstone application is required.
*At Il Bacio Spa Club we do not work with acrylic powder.
Practical
Qualified candidates will be invited for an in-person interview, which will include a practical skills assessment to demonstrate nail techniques. A portfolio showcasing previous work is also required.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
