This posting is for two to four unionized contractual appointments. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:

This requisition is for two to four positions, at total of 200 (min. 50 hours each) for the term, in the Department Kinesiology and Physical Education*. Course dates are August 27, 2025, to December 4, 2025. Effective dates of appointment are August 20, 2025, to December 27, 2025.*

Primary Duties:

  • Manage laboratory experiences for undergraduates, including presentation and grading
  • Assist instructor with maintaining the record of grade, set up the library of questions for the final examination.
  • Manage remote delivery of laboratory related work and correspondence with students

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in physical education, kinesiology or equivalent. Successfully completed course in Motor Development and at least one other course in the social-behavioral sciences of Physical Education
