We are looking for a talented Regional Sales Manager, who will managing the British Columbia Territory and should be based in British Columbia. Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the efficient performance of all sales activities for Company products in an assigned territory) in order to meet, exceed or achieve sales and profitability objectives in both the short and long term.
The Regional Sales Manager provides detailing, support, clinical support and product promotion to designated heath care professionals and/or product affiliated organizations/ business in support of the Canadian operations and initiatives for the entry of Company products into the Canadian markets. The Regional Sales Manager provides market information and feedback, which contributes to the budgeting process and to the identification of present and future opportunities for the development of the business.
This position is home based within an assigned territory and require travel throughout the region on a regular basis (up to 60% of time). Although these positions are home based, occasional travel to the head office and other business related meetings or events are required.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in hospital pharmaceutical or medical equipment sales
- Experience in a pharmacy compounding environment highly desirable
- Existing relationships with Hospital Pharmacy directors in assigned territory highly desirable
- Proven track record of success in highly competitive hospital product market
- Experience in a health care environment is an asset

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft® Office
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent continuous improvement skills
- Proven ability to adhere to standards and procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills

- Willingness to travel including significant overnight stays
- Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance as well as the ability to drive within the assigned territory to make sales calls
