Position Title: Seafood Processor
Location: Calgary AB
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Seafood Production team member will be accountable for the processing and production of Seafood products at C2C Premium Seafoods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packaging fresh and frozen seafood.
- Cutting and processing seafood as required.
- Quality control & assurance for all products coming from the seafood room, fresh & frozen.
- Champion and enforce the Code of Conduct and CFS policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to CFS Health and Safety Programs and initiatives.
- Ensure that standards for sanitation and food safety are met or exceeded.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with the utilization of fillet knives, food processing equipment, and food safety.
- Willingness to work with raw meat products.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
- Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices.
