OMG Canada’s Capabilities group brings together a team of experts in marketing and advertising technology, digital platforms and marketplaces, data solutions and marketing science, and content and influencer marketing, to support the four brand agencies of OMG Canada. This team of specialist supports new business growth, product development and digital operational excellence including programmatic media buying for all digital channels, audience segmentation and measurement, and media insights derived from rigorous statistical analysis.
Position and Responsibilities
As a seasoned data expert, and a senior member of a partner-and client-facing team, you
responsibilities will span across data provider evaluation, onboarding and integration, leveraging your deep expertise in consumer data, addressable media identifiers (AMIs) and the role data clean rooms play. Data partners/providers include publishers and retail media networks.You will lead data audits, the onboarding of partner and client 1P data, and integration with partner/provider tools (via iFrame or SSO). You’ll work closely with U.S.-based and local teams to ensure the identity graph and data assets of Omni, our industry-leading orchestration platform, remain top-tier. Additionally, you'll serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with clients, internal agency teams and publishers to enhance client media planning and performance.
This will involve:
Data Providers/Partners
- Evaluate data providers (Canada and globally) based upon comprehensive business and technical criteria sets that you will assemble
- Lead data evaluation audits for potential providers
- Contribute to reputation and risk audits (led by Annalect’s Privacy practice)
- Lead annual due diligence audits for current Canadian partners/providers
- Collaborate with U.S.-based teams (Enablement, Global Strategic Partnerships, Data Science, Privacy & Data Policy) to onboard and integrate data provider assets, inclusive of data and query-based insights platforms/UIs
- Ensure that Omni’s identity graph and data assets remain industry-leading across competitive holdcos and agencies
Identifiers & Identity
- Act as subject matter expert on addressable media identifiers (incl. LiveRamp/RampID, UID 2.0, Lotame Panorama, IP address), inclusive of creation, interoperability and scale in Canada [both demand (advertiser) and supply (publisher) side].
Clients
- Work directly with clients and Annalect’s PII Data Team to onboard client first party data into Omni (via Snowflake data clean rooms)
Supply Side & Publishers
- Collaborate with Activation practice, supply side platforms (Index Exchange, Magnite) and publishers to maximize addressability of audiences that are distributed for activation from the Omni platform
OMG
- Collaborate with internal agency teams to plan & execute data solutions projects that enhance media planning and performance
- Work with data from behavioral partners, ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, measurement partners, and other online or offline datasets to develop client-specific solutions
- Serve as subject matter expert for all data solutions
Key Skills and Experience
- 7+ years' experience; knowledge of adtech ecosystem, programmatic advertising, and agency work experience a plus
- 3+ years' experience working directly with adtech, martech, identity or onboarding providers
- 3+ years' experience auditing data providers, inclusive of formal evaluation criteria set, scorecards and validating testing, as well as evaluating client data assets for the purpose of onboarding in Omni
- Knowledge of identity management, identity graphs and ID onboarding
- Proficient in SQL a plus
- Experience with data clean rooms (Snowflake, InfoSum, Habu or Amazon) a plus
- Demonstrated client management expertise
- Strong business communication skills.Able to communicate the implications and recommendations of complex analyses in clear language for senior-level clients
This position reports directly to the Managing Director, Marketing Technology and Data Solutions at OMG. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate across the Capabilities group, with colleagues in Investment, Platforms and Activation, Ad Operations, Data Engineering and Commerce.
