Position: Primary Care Paramedic
Location: Whitecourt, Alberta
Position Type: Temporary Full-Time (Coreflex)
Duration: 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension
Associated Ambulance is currently accepting expressions of interest for one (1) Primary Care Paramedic to join our Whitecourt Station on a temporary full-time basis. This position is anticipated to last three to six months, with potential for extension depending on operational needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Primary Care Paramedic practice permit meeting Alberta EMS practice requirements
- Current Alberta Class IV driver’s license
- Up-to-date on all mandatory and required training, including Medical Communications Protocols (MCP) and Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC)
Position Details:
- Work Schedule: Coreflex rotation of four (4) days on, followed by four (4) days off
- Applicants must disclose in their expression of interest any prior commitments that could impact their ability to meet the full-time schedule requirements
- This position is governed by the terms outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- All Temporary Full-Time (TFT) positions are subject to a three-month probationary period
