This is a Fixed Term Contract role with strong potential for extension. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants (minimum 3 days or 24 hours per week). As a Senior Project Management Facilitator and Coach , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of complex capital programs. You’ll lead the development of delivery plans, contribute to strategic implementation, and foster high-impact relationships with key stakeholders. Your expertise will influence resource management and drive operational excellence, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks and commercial best practices. You’ll be accountable for achieving internal and external objectives, delivering measurable improvements in project outcomes and team capability.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Hands-on coaching and mentoring a cohort of Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Program Directors to build their project leadership and delivery capabilities.
  • Acting as a connector between the central learning team, line managers, and senior leadership to align development efforts with organizational goals.
  • Providing expert guidance across key project management disciplines, including risk management, schedule management, contract management, and other core knowledge areas. This may include facilitating workshops and training aligned with real time project challenges.
  • In collaboration with our learning team, designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programs that support capability uplift across the capital program delivery division.
  • Building trusted, supportive relationships with project delivery team members to help them grow their careers in project and construction management and confidence within the organization.
  • Collaborating across all levels of the business to elevate the overall competency of project delivery teams and ensure consistent, high-quality project outcomes.

You’ll Also Have

  • Proven experience in large-scale program delivery, ideally in rail or infrastructure projects in Canada. Ideally 15 + years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Strong coaching/mentoring background—formal coaching credentials are a plus, but not required
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • A calm, solutions-focused mindset with excellent time management skills.
  • The ability to translate complex project delivery experience into practical, contextualized learning.
