WHAT YOU’LL DO?
- Build Reliability from the Ground Up
- Develop and roll out a proactive & predictive maintenance strategy for automated equipment and production lines, with AI capabilities
- Establish a smart, scalable approach to inventory and chemical control, ensuring availability, safety, and compliance from the start.
- Lead the setting up of the facility’s wastewater management system, working cross-functionally to align with environmental standards and operational needs.
- Lead, Develop & Empower Your Team
- Build and coach a skilled maintenance team that’s proud to deliver results.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and problem-solving on the shop floor.
- Keep Safety & Compliance Front and Center
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HACCP, FSSC, CFIA, and WorkSafe.
- Champion a safety-first culture by leading risk assessments, developing safe work procedures, and supporting incident prevention.
- Maintain clean, audit-ready maintenance records at all times.
- Drive Operational Uptime & Continuous Improvement
- Lead or support capital projects—from installation to commissioning and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to create maintenance schedules with plant priorities.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5–10 years in food manufacturing, with 3+ years in a maintenance or operations leadership role
- Experience with commissioning, ammonia & wastewater treatment preferred
- BA or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Red Seal Millwright or Electrician is a strong asset)
- Strong understanding of HACCP, FSSC, GMPs, and CFIA compliance
- Experience with CMMS, ERP, and tools for maintenance and production planning
- A leadership mindset focused on continuous improvement, team development, and safety excellence

Artificial growth hormones, like rbST, are not permitted and controlled measures are in place to prevent antibiotics from entering the milk supply.
