About the role

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will develop, implement and coordinate accurate supply & demand plans for all areas of the Canadian Wholesale and Specialty teams. Your goal will be to assist our teams by gathering data from several areas of our business to create and manage our analytics reports and provide those reports to our internal sales team. Your success will depend on your coordination with the sales team to streamline operational performance, optimize our analytics reporting and enhance the Irving Oil customer experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain any required data analytics reporting that are required
  • Responsible for establishing and executing product demand plans, coordinating changes and managing challenges when they arise
  • Review analytics reports and recommend adjustments to daily discount and spot pricing strategy to ensure adherence to demand plans
  • Develop and establish performance management reporting to aid in business planning and execution
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop opportunities to improve operational processes
  • Coordinate customer account creation & maintenance and manage customer nominations, ensuring they are within their contractual obligations
  • Develop and maintain processes and reporting to identify operational gaps and use current analytics reporting to provide solutions
  • Review and manage receivables, identifying any risk
  • Provide timely and accurate information on planned and unplanned supply disruptions

Your Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to create and maintain analytics processes and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong ability to manage, analyze and interpret data
  • Strong computer literacy – must be advanced with Excel and intermediate with other Microsoft Office programs

Your Experience:

  • High School diploma required and Post-secondary certificate or diploma with a focus in business or data analytics is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics-related role
  • Experience working with Salesforce is an asset
