As our innovative business continues to rapidly grow, we are seeking for a full-time Seafood Cutter/Filleter for the Seafood Processing Division at our Richmond location. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for processing fish. If you are able to work in a cool, fast-paced environment and can work under pressure with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you!
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00am - 12:30pm. In September, the shift will change to 5:00am - 1:30pm. Potential overtime and weekend work.
Wage: Starting from $19/hour
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cut and trim fish, which also involves pin boning
- Responsible for the processing of orders in the processing department
- Cleaning and sanitizing
- Some other tasks required by the processing supervisor
Requirements:
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
- Basic knife skill is an asset
- Comfortable working in a cooler/freezer environment
- Reliable, hardworking, punctual, a team player and committed to delivering the job.
- Knowledge of seafood processing and experience is an advantage but not required.
