Position Overview
Prepare, cook, and serve food for à la carte and buffet menus, including extensive prep work.
This is a full-time seasonal role, 5 days out of 7 per week. Alberta Employment Standards regarding probationary periods apply.
Qualifications

Previous cooking experience
-
Able to ski/snowboard in varying conditions
-
Physically & mentally fit, able to lift/push/pull 55lbs+
-
Capable and willing to work under pressure
-
Comfortable working with various kitchen equipment
-
Knife handling skills

Professional deportment with excellent customer service skills: experience dealing with guests and working collaboratively with co-workers

Cheerful, outgoing personality; demonstrated temperament and disposition for highly stressful situations

Job Duties/Responsibilities
-
Adhering to Alberta’s safe food handling guidelines in maintaining a clean and safe workspace and daily temperature recordkeeping.
-
Preparing side dishes required for daily meal.
-
Preparing menu items
-
Assisting cooks with packaging food.
-
Stocking and tracking inventory of food and beverages for daily use.
-
Following recipes and guidelines as set out by the company
-
Assisting with maintaining a clean and safe workspace
-
Assisting with maintaining a clean and a safe dishwashing room.
-
Assisting with the weekly sanitation check list.
-
Assisting with receiving food stock
-
Other duties as needed.
Additional
- With previous working knowledge, assist in the training/supervision of employees
- Work in a safe efficient manner; point out any safety concerns that would put any employee or guest in an unsafe situation
- Ensure all opening/closing procedures are followed and completed daily
