We are seeking a skilled Project Logistics Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will learn to organize and manage global transport projects by ocean, air, road, and rail. Comprehensive training and educational courses will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Arrange and coordinate the transportation of oversize, overweight, or otherwise challenging cargo on a global scale

Obtain and negotiate rates for transportation services, securing preferential terms where possible

Prepare detailed quotations for customers and oversee the scheduling and dispatch of shipments

Plan, organize, and control daily operations while monitoring shipment movements via phone, email, and computer systems

Prepare management reports and contribute to the planning and implementation of changes to schedules and policies

Arrange shipping documentation and oversee tracking and tracing of goods in transit

Attend ports or airports to supervise loading and unloading operations as required
Skills and Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding

Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Secondary (high school) graduation certificate required; college education preferred

Proficient with computers, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and general email communication; comfortable using smartphones
-
Legally eligible to work in Canada
