As a Senior Advisor, Internal Communications, reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, your primary mandate will be to develop and implement internal communication strategies to support the needs of various internal clients, while promoting Pomerleau’s organizational culture and employee experience across our offices and construction sites.

What You Will Do

  • Advise leaders and managers on their communication needs (setting objectives, identifying stakeholders, strategies, channels, tools, key messages, and dissemination);
  • Develop, execute, and analyze communication plans for various initiatives, ensuring consistency in the company’s key messages across target audiences, especially during organizational change;
  • Create communication tactics and deploy various tools such as events, presentations, articles, internal announcements, and speeches;
  • Ensure engaging and mobilizing bilingual communications;
  • Promote Pomerleau’s reputation as an employer of choice, both internally and externally;
  • Act as an ambassador within the Communications team to promote the company culture through corporate communication strategies.

This role could be for you if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent professional experience;
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including proven success and creative solutions related to organizational culture and employee engagement;
  • Demonstrated skills in autonomy, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to interact and negotiate effectively with internal clients, partners, and vendors while maintaining tact and diplomacy;
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Experience in internal communications within a national company is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset.
