LOCATION: Corporate Services – Oxford County Administration Building
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Full-time
REPORTING TO: Senior Manager of Financial Services
UNION AFFILIATION: Non-Union
WAGE RATE: $48.49/hr-$60.61/hr ($88,251.80-$110,310.20/annually)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversees and ensures the effective and efficient delivery of the accounting, pension and reporting requirements within the payroll service. As a subject matter expert, the Supervisor is responsible for issue resolution and continuous improvement on payroll accounting and pension related items
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or related field, Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/or a Payroll certification (i.e. Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)).
- Experience working in a municipal and unionized environment with progressive experience in accounting or payroll is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Excellent project planning skills and the ability to manage complex conflicting priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with senior management and employees at all levels
- Well-developed organizational, planning, analytical and research skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team is required as is flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast paced working environment.
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system working in a large, complex, unionized environment.
