Scope of the Position:
Responsible for the Information and Communication Technology business, including pricing, inventory, business development, training, and marketing, for fortifying the Company’s business plans, sales forecasts and targets, and ensuring that the strategic development of sales plans and market initiative are implemented. Managing and encouraging optimal performance and development of all direct reports.
Major Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the Director of Sales, create and manage the P&L for the Information and Communication Technology Business Unit
- Manage and develop a team of direct reports consisting of Information and Communication Technology Specialists and support staff across all regions
- Build and manage infrastructure and support teams to service and support Information and Communication Technology business
- Align the general salesforce and Information and Communication Technology teams across company to ensure business receives required support
- Collaborate with the Pricing team, create effective strategies and tactics for the entire company for the Information and Communication Technology business
- Work with the Purchasing team to create and implement an inventory management plan for Information and Communication Technology
- Work closely with Vendor Relations to set expectations, negotiate competitive terms, rebates, and returns
- Create training plan for all sales positions in Branches (Counter, OSR, Specialists, etc.)
- Create tools that allow Company employees to be more efficient when selling Information and Communication Technology products within the business unit
- Ensure continual personal development in area of expertise to ensure Company is at the forefront of innovative products
- Create market strategy and business plan for new product linesWork with key vendors if missing areas due to pricing, products etc.
- Support Projects Team, Sales Associates and Branches as the key resource for products, and alternates that meet customer Information and Communication Technology needs
- Develop, manage, and update sales plans to secure effective means of delivering projects through inventoryAlign sales plans including targets with Vendors and Branches
- Brand the Company with Vendors – make the Company stand out from its competitors
- Other duties as required.
Education & Training
- High School Diploma required
- College/University Diploma required (Business related, preferred)
- RCDD accreditation required
