About the role

Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer in electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling for oil cooled transformers. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a Customer Service & Planning Manager in London, ON.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Customer Service and Production Planning teams
  • Build and maintain direct customer interface to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain production planning processes
  • Continually seek process improvements for higher efficiency
  • Track performance measures to assess staff performance and process effectiveness
  • Manage internal design and/or drawing reviews for new projects
  • Manage transition of new customer onboarding
  • Ensure compliance of company policies and established processes
  • Ensure output meets quality standards.
  • Ensure all health and safety precautions are taken, policies are followed and enforced.
  • Conduct additional duties necessary.

Accountabilities:

  • OTD to Customer Promise Date
  • Job (Kit) Count to Forecast
  • Sales $ to Forecast
  • Sales $ to Customer Agreement/Contract
  • Customer Satisfaction

Qualifications & Skills:

  • College diploma or University degree in Engineering or business-related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience in customer service supervisor / manager role in a mid to high volume manufacturing environment
  • Effective and positive verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize work and effectively manage time
  • High level of proficiency with MSOffice applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Some experience with the use of planning tools (i.e.: MS Project or other)
  • Ability to read CAD / technical drawings
  • Experience with multi-level bills of material
