Location: Holy Family Home, Winnipeg, MB
Position: Summer Recreation Student
Hours: Part-time (32.5 hrs/week) | July–August
Wage: $16.50 per hr.

About the Role:
We’re looking for an energetic and creative summer student to support our Recreation team in delivering enriching programs and activities for our senior residents. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in health care, social services, therapeutic recreation, or gerontology.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Assist in planning and delivering recreational and social programs
✅ Encourage resident participation and engagement
✅ Support special events, outings, and spiritual activities
✅ Help maintain program materials and spaces
✅ Provide companionship and a positive presence

Qualifications:

· Must be a returning student (high school, college, or university) in the fall

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Compassionate, patient, and respectful toward seniors

· Experience with older adults is an asset

· Ability to work independently and in a team setting
