Northern Lights School Division No.113 is a provincial school system serving a predominantly Indigenous school population throughout an area encompassing the entire northern half of Saskatchewan. The schools are very diverse ranging from 10 to over 500 students per school, and catering to Cree, Dene, Métis, French, and English cultures and languages.
NLSD provides a full range of pre-kindergarten to Grade Twelve programs to more than 4300 students in 21 schools. We have offices located in the beautiful communities of La Ronge and Beauval, both approximately 400 kilometers north of Saskatoon.
The division is progressively piloting programs unique to Canada, staying on the cutting edge of technology, and integrating the varied cultural aspects of the communities into the classrooms.
FTE: Part-time
Term of Employment: Continuing
Salary and Benefits: $24.31 - $28.44 - According to education and experience.
Qualifications:

Financial literacy is essential

Experience with the operation of Microsoft 365 software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
-
Familiar with basic office procedures and telephone protocol
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality
-
Ability to work unsupervised
-
Ability to meet deadlines
The successful candidate will:

Work closely with administration and staff
-
Process, track, and manage all financial activities in the school
-
Greet the public and screen calls
-
Complete attendance reporting for all staff
