What is the opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Training Services, this position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Energy Safety Canada’s stakeholders which include all students, instructors and clients.

What will you do:

  • Effectively answer all customer inquiries in a Contact Center environment (phone, email and chat) and in-person, utilizing strong communication and problem-solving skills, including technical troubleshooting.
  • Process customer requests following defined procedures, while adhering to quality metrics and service level objectives. This includes awareness of changes and updates to all system and processes.
  • Maintain customer data, including certify Energy Safety Canada courses.
  • Other duties as required

What you need to succeed:

  • High school diploma or its equivalency is required
  • 6+ months experience in a Contact Center or customer service role
  • Proficient in MS Office and has basic computer skills
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within an office and Contact Center environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with attention to patience and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team, with proven reliability
  • Must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Data entry experience with focus on accuracy and troubleshooting is an asset
  • Ability to sit for long periods, navigate multiple computer systems with repetitive motions and utilize devices typically found in an office environment
  • Computer literate, ability to use a variety of software programs proficiently and fluently such as iMIS, D2L, Integrity Advocate would be an asset
