Crafted Highlights As the Category Insights Executive (12-month contract), you will play a key role as a contributor within the Marketing Activation and Customer Solutions team.
You will develop critical insights and solutions for their assigned chain account(s) to grow the size and the value of the customer' beer category, while capuring a disproportionate share of growth. Your main focus is to provide direction to deliver an optimal growth plan that fulfills the portfolio and brand strategies, customer objectives and volume/financial commitments.
This position reports to the Sr. Customer Solutions Manager and is based out of Montreal .
What You’ll Be Brewing
- Identify insights and emerging business opportunities through the analysis of the perfect store pillars including category reviews, shelf space allocation, assortment strategy and adjacency recommendations of planograms.
- Develop comprehensive category reviews by integrating data from various sources (including Nielsen, Retailer POS, and others) to establish yourself as a reliable and valued category expert for the assigned retailers.
- Incorporate consumer/shopper insights and behaviour into analysis and insights. Synthesizing all insights into selling story, category, and business reviews.
- Work collabortatively with account team(s) on sales call approach and plan. Enhance the utilization of analytics and insights within the Customer Sales team for the assigned retailers.
- Implement the annual plan agreed with the customer, ensuring the activations align to the brand strategies where approriate and Perfect Store tools help elevating the category.
- Assist in developing planogram concepts for assigned retailers.
- Conduct postmortem analyses of programs to evaluate successes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Lead sampling strategy for assigned customer.
Key Ingredients

- You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of category management.
- You have at least 3 years experience of progressive experience across category management, data analysis, consumer research, statistics, or sales in CPG industry.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You have experience working with the Nielsen IQ.
- Knowledge of planogram software is an asset (JDA/BlueYonder).
- You have experience with retailer POS - An asset.
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
- You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.
- You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
- You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $66,800.00
$87,700.00 (posting salary range).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
