The Alberta Trucking Division in Edmonton specializes in serving key customers by hauling a variety of commodities like, Polymer, Lumber, Pipe, Building Products, Over Dimensional Loads from various origin to destination locations across Western Canada. Approximately 40 employees report into Alberta Trucking Division including Company Drivers, Lease Operators, Broker/Contractor Trucks and Office staff.

As an Arrow logistics team member you will be responsible to engage in day to day customer support for transactional coordination and service completion, project planning, roll out and execution including all aspects of customer service , business development and administration . In this role, you will also have an active responsibility of sourcing, selection and coordination of both internal and external resources for the purpose of business execution. Coordination of services will be in compliance with all Customer and Arrow HSE requirements as well as provide support for Senior ALSS management functions as directed.
Transportation experience with a strong understanding of multi-modal services including administration with month /year-end financial input/support combined with a strong work ethic and a positive “can do” attitude is required to ensure success in this position.
- Execute transactional logistic/trucking activities as required and provided by internal and external sources.
- Secure complete shipment transactional information including load confirmation, POD and carrier cost audit.
- Ensure Customer satisfaction and accepted service levels from pick up to delivery (Arrow is responsible for all customer expectations/communications).
- Provide internal and external Customer Service excellence.
- Accurate and timely input into Arrow DTMS system for complete operational, admin and financial control.
- Input and manage customer service metrics including daily, weekly monthly reporting as required in conjunction with existing customer service.
- Must be able to multitask with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks balancing customer demands with operational limitations / challenges.
- Develop and maintain performance standards and metrics including non-conformance reporting.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Transportation experience is an asset.
- Grade 12 or equivalent required.
- Preference will be given to those with a Post-Secondary Certificate or Degree (Business, Supply Chain, CITT /Transportation).
- Customer Service experience / training.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Able to perform and excel in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Strong Computer proficiency - Microsoft suite, Google.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software applications.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities.
- Guided by high ethical standards and integrity.
