We are a growing volumetric modular company looking for an experienced Architectural Technician or Technologist to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits, on-site parking, and a salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communications among internal and external teams and stakeholders
• Manage resources, schedules, and project activities
• Prepare architectural designs, sketches, and details for modular construction projects
• Participate in project meetings and manage expectations
• Review and resolve document discrepancies from various stakeholders
• Track project status and ensure timely updates
• Assist with R&D, code updates, and standards analysis
• Provide support for factory inquiries and site-related questions
• Address questions from stakeholders and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

Qualifications:

• Diploma, certificate, or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Architectural Technology, or related field
• Ontario seal or BCIN qualification (legal, house, small buildings) or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge of Building Codes (OBC, QCC, NBC)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MiTek, Forte, and Microsoft Office
• Experience in residential and commercial projects
• Interest in eco-friendly initiatives (Energy Star, Net Zero, Green Building)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid “G” driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Experience:

• 2-5 years in a relevant field

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Assets:

• Bilingual (French)

• Practical and/or field experience
