POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Facility Leader, the individual is responsible for administrative support to the Nursing department. As a unit clerk, the individual is responsible for all staff scheduling, unit clerk responsibilities and financial support duties while adhering to the values of Intercare. Work is performed with a high degree of confidentiality and precision. The individual will work as a team player to promote high safety standards and provide excellent customer service for residents, guests and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a Unit Clerk program

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
-
Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
-
Strong computer skills.
-
Ability to work independently and to work effectively as a member of a team.

Minimum of two years unit clerk experience in continuing care environment required.
Applicants must have a certificate from a recognized Unit Clerk program, and preference goes to those with experience working in long-term Term Care.
