The primary function of the position:
Cleans public spaces and maintains the security of the building.

Basic duties:

· Completes nightly task list set by Housekeeping department and Management

· Cleaning public washrooms and fitness facilities, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing garbage

· Ensures the safety and security of the building

· Assisting with guest services for late check-ins

· Prepared to deal with emergency situations (calling police or fire) if they occur

· Perform other duties as required (Hours 11pm to 7:00am)

Experience/requirements:

· Previous security/housekeeping work experience preferred

· Flexibility and availability to handle emergency situations

· Attention to detail

· Physically capable for labor work

· Ability to work independently and show initiative

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Victoria, BC V8W 1Z6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
• housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
• Security: 1 year (preferred)
