Position Details
The Student Enrolment and Registrar Services Office at the University of Lethbridge requires a qualified Curriculum and Space System Administrator. This is a term, full-time position that reports to the Assistant Registrar, Curriculum and Student Records.
The Student Enrolment and Registrar Services Office at the University of Lethbridge is dedicated to serving our students and ensuring we provide the best opportunities for student success through all our interactions and services.
This position is primarily responsible for:
- The configuration, implementation, and ongoing support for a space booking software application.
- In addition to system management, the position is required to provide service delivery related to ad hoc space booking across campus.
- The incumbent will work as part of the Scheduling team, preparing the academic course timetable. As a member of the Curriculum and Scheduling team, the incumbent is required to generate reports and share data to multiple committees on campus and attend various meetings with departments across campus to create/update procedures, establish and maintain business needs and room inventory, and uphold great working relationships.
- This position is also responsible for assisting and coordinating curriculum committee meetings, curriculum proposal review and preparation, and curriculum report building.
- The incumbent will work in multiple different software and data systems. Confidence, experience and knowledge in navigating, problem-solving and building in complex software and data systems is necessary.
- The ability to bridge communication between IT Services, Student Enrolment and Registrar Services, and software vendor to ensure technical issues are resolved and software updates are completed is expected.

Position Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:

A undergraduate degree in a related area and a minimum of two years related experience in a post-secondary institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a high level of problem-solving ability. Good judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to be flexible are paramount.

Exceptional technical aptitude for different software programs and student information systems, and experience working with databases and MS Office (particularly Excel) is essential.

A desire to provide excellent service to the University community and be a helpful and positive teammate is a must.

Willingness to learn about related tasks and functions using a broad range of resources is required to be successful in this position.

Knowledge of Infosilem event scheduling software is an asset.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,691.00 - $5,246.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,691.00 - $5,799.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 10)
