Job Description Manager, FP&A at a glance Location Toronto, ON | Hybrid (3 days in-office)
The Finance Manager, FP&A for the Canada Business Unit is responsible for the full P&L and for driving the monthly FP&A agenda. The role also supports the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning cycles for their respective platform. This team member is a key link between the Marketing, Sales Planning, and cross-functional Finance teams, and reports directly to the Associate Director of FP&A + Strategy.
What's on the menu?
- Lead FP&A for Canada, with oversight of all categories and responsible for understanding and influencing both revenue and cost drivers (full P&L responsibility)
- Execute the monthly actualization process including P&L variance analyses, insights, and issue resolution
- Support the Demand Review process including partnering with marketers on demand forecast inputs and validating driver assumptions
- Run the monthly forecasting process to project and explain financial performance on a rolling 18-month basis
- Support the build of the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plans
- Analytical assistance on business results and achieving financial targets via data-driven insights and recommendations
- Modeling, analytics, and preparation of management summaries and presentations
- All other duties, as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field, MBA a plus
- 5+ years’ experience, in a complex environment with escalating levels of responsibility. CPG experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, understanding of financial statements and broad business acumen as well as strong Excel technical skills desired
- Prior Function, Category, Corporate FP&A and/or BU experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work autonomously and think independently
- Ability to coach, develop and help team prioritize
