We’re looking for a Customer Relations & Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team and serve as a key point of contact for our valued customers
Position Summary:
This hybrid role combines customer relations with inside sales responsibilities, offering a dynamic opportunity to build lasting client relationships while contributing to business growth. You’ll assist with incoming orders, resolve issues, follow up with clients, and support the sales team in achieving targets. If you enjoy multitasking, building rapport, and delivering excellent service, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
- Enter and process orders accurately using our internal systems
- Assist in identifying sales opportunities within existing accounts (upselling/cross-selling)
- Monitor inactive or low-volume customers and re-engage them with promotional offers
- Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or product quality promptly
- Work closely with sales, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order flow
- Maintain updated customer records and note special requirements/preferences
- Monitor customer satisfaction and escalate concerns as needed
- Assist in other administrative or customer service-related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or order desk role (preferably in food distribution or a similar fast-paced industry)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with order-entry systems
- Positive attitude and a strong team player
