Hiive is transforming how private market transactions happen, and as an Analyst, Customer Operations , you'll be at the heart of that transformation. You’ll work directly with founders, employees, and investors looking to transact in the private markets, helping them navigate the platform, the selling process and transaction execution with confidence and ease.
This role will blend client support, operations, and elements of capital markets. It is perfect for someone who is customer-obsessed, highly organized, and excited to learn the inner workings of secondary transactions and private markets.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Being the first line of support for Hiive’s customers, responding via live chat, email and phone to provide timely guidance, answer product questions, and resolve issues.
- Driving a seamless customer experience, ensuring sellers feel informed and empowered through the end to end selling process.
- Supporting sellers through the full transaction lifecycle, from listing to closing, coordinating internally with the Capital Markets and Execution teams to ensure an excellent liquidity experience.
- Being a champion for Hiive’s sellers, sharing feedback, shareholder insights, and market opportunities with Product, Capital Markets, and Private Capital Solutions to foster continuous improvements.
- Helping scale the Customer Operations function by contributing to process improvements, documentation and playbooks.
- Supporting lead generation and outbound communication initiatives for potential sellers, including outbound outreach and engagement follow-ups.
- Developing expertise in the secondary market for pre-IPO stock, understanding the role of Hiive and the unique needs of sellers transacting in this space.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have 1–2 years of experience in a client-facing, support, sales, or operations role, bonus if in fintech, marketplaces, capital markets, or SaaS.
- Be a clear and empathetic communicator, comfortable working with both internal teams and customers.
- Be a fast learner with strong technical aptitude, excited to dive into new systems and tools.
- Have outstanding organizational skills, able to manage multiple workflows and ensure follow through.
- Be naturally curious and proactive, always looking for opportunities to improve the customer experience and internal processes.
- Show a strong bias for action and ownership, with a track record of initiative and accountability.
- Be excited about private markets, fintech, and playing a foundational role in a fast-growing startup.
- Have an academic background in finance, economics, or a related field or a genuine interest in learning the ins and outs of private equity transactions.
