The University of Lethbridge is currently hiring two Student Recruitment Officers based at our Lethbridge campus. As part of the Student Enrolment & Registrar Services team, you’ll travel extensively to connect with future students and share what makes ULethbridge and its people stand out.

You’ll receive thorough training and ongoing support, helping you make a real impact as students and their families explore post-secondary pathways. Many past Student Recruitment Officers have used this role as a springboard into rewarding careers in higher education, government, and the private sector.

In this role, you will:

  • Represent ULethbridge at high schools, community events, and post-secondary fairs
  • Give engaging presentations and connect with prospective students, families, and educators
  • Manage a regional or virtual recruitment portfolio under the guidance of the Manager, National Recruitment
  • Coordinate travel and outreach plans, often independently, with significant evening and weekend work during peak periods
  • Respond to student inquiries and support prospective students through their decision-making process
  • Assist with on-campus events, tours, and online engagement initiatives

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with comfort speaking to groups of all sizes
  • Social perceptiveness and relationship-building skills to work effectively with diverse audiences
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; project planning experience is an asset
  • A self-motivated and adaptable mindset, you enjoy both independent work and being part of a collaborative team
  • Enthusiasm for post-secondary education and the student experience

Position Qualifications

  • A completed four-year undergraduate degree

  • Knowledge of the Canadian post-secondary education system and student experience

  • A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.

  • Submission of a current driver’s abstract (issued within three months of the posting close date)

Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)

$5,291.00 - $5,990.00 monthly

Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)

$5,291.00 - $6,687.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 12)
