This role oversees and coordinates production efforts for multiple squads, focusing on roadmap planning, risk management, and cross-squad alignment. This role supports the successful delivery of features by driving process improvements, ensuring strategic goals are met, and fostering a collaborative team environment. With advanced production expertise, you will partner with Product Owners to manage risks, resolve bottlenecks, and implement solutions that contribute to project success.
Your Impact
- Collaborate with Product Owners to align squad goals with quarterly roadmap objectives and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Lead the creation, refinement, and assignment of tasks to meet project milestones and squad priorities.
- Proactively identify, document, and monitor risks, escalating them as needed with actionable mitigation plans.
- Maintain and update a risk registry to ensure leadership and stakeholders are informed of potential challenges.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies across squads, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups, to enhance team efficiency and clarity.
- Mentor squad members in operational best practices, ensuring a transparent and collaborative culture.
- Develop and share reports and presentations with Product Owners to communicate project status and dependencies.
About You
- You bring 3+ years hands-on experience within game development.
- An experienced and outcome-driven game producer with a record of consistently delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Skilled in advanced project planning and risk management, backlog management, with the ability to break down complex roadmaps into detailed, achievable sprint plans.
- Proactive in assessing and mitigating risks early to ensure smooth, uninterrupted project flow.
- Quality-focused, maintaining high standards across projects, reducing defects, and driving continuous improvement.
- A clear communicator who fosters transparency with stakeholders and team members, keeping everyone informed and engaged.
- A supportive mentor and leader, dedicated to developing junior producers and refining their project management skills.
- Known for building strong relationships and receiving positive feedback from stakeholders on project alignment with strategic goals and quality standards.
