ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Your role will be to support cash management activities related to private and public investment operations, as well as the management of the associated bank accounts. You will also produce control reports and cash flow projections for various stakeholders.

As an Intern, Cash Management, Treasury, you’ll:

  • Contribute to internal and external fund transfer activities across all private and public market asset classes
  • Assist in producing daily cash flow projections.
  • Reconcile cash flow projections with actual transactions
  • Assist with the opening, closing and maintenance of bank accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of various treasury reports
  • Assist in the day-to-day cash management operations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce, with a concentration in Finance or Accounting
  • Academic knowledge of financial products
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Effective communications skills, both written and spoken
  • Rigor with an ability to produce high quality results
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation of information
  • Collaborative approach and strong team player
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, an asset
  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
  • Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum
  • Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position. No support to obtain the right to work will be provided.
    • Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit
