Under the leadership of the supervisor, the Machining Shop Assistant will play a key role in our production line.

As the guardian of raw materials, you’ll be at the heart of operations, providing essential support to our manufacturing teams. You’ll actively contribute to the quality of our products while operating production equipment safely and efficiently. Your sharp eye for detail and commitment to doing things right will help ensure that every part meets our highest quality standards.

As Machine Shop Assistant, you will have to

  • Prepare raw materials according to production needs.
  • Provide operational support to manufacturing processes.
  • Receive, inspect, and store raw materials.
  • Keep inventory up to date and ensure proper organization of raw materials.
  • Perform basic and scheduled maintenance on machines.
  • Carry out required dimensional inspections using appropriate measuring instruments.
  • Operate all equipment safely and in compliance with current procedures.
  • Report any anomaly or risk related to equipment, tools, or the work environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Deliver a final product that meets quality requirements and technical specifications.

What Makes You An Asset To Our Team

  • DEP in Machining Techniques (an asset).
  • Experience in a similar position.
