Job Description Summary: The Regional Leasing Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that prospective residents have a seamless experience from inquiry to move-in. By delivering superior customer service and promoting the benefits of the community, the Leasing Specialist contributes to resident satisfaction and retention, while supporting the overall success of the property management team. The Regional Leasing Specialist will have excellent customer service skills, a strong sales ability, and a passion for helping prospective residents find their ideal living space.
What You'll Get To Do Handle Inquiries Professionally
- Respond to all telephone and walk-in inquiries from prospective residents in a courteous, professional manner.
Qualify Prospective Residents
- Process and qualify prospects by assessing their needs and financial capabilities. Determine which apartments best fit their requirements and demonstrate the suites and amenities.
Schedule Appointments and Viewings
- Encourage prospective residents to schedule appointments or viewings and follow up with professionalism to drive interest.
Conduct Property Tours
- Lead property tours for prospective residents, highlighting key amenities, features, and the local community. Provide information on the benefits of living in the apartment complex and the surrounding area.
Close the Sale
- Actively promote the quality of the community and the lifestyle it offers, driving successful sales by closing lease agreements.
Assist with Leasing Process
- Help prospects with the qualification process, including collecting necessary information and coordinating background checks to ensure they meet rental requirements.
Prepare Apartments for Move-In
- Ensure apartments are move-in ready, coordinating with the operations team to ensure they meet the highest standards.
Resident Service Excellence
- Provide unmatched service to current residents to exceed their expectations and foster a positive living experience, which in turn aids in resident retention.
Manage Leasing Documentation
- Perform required office tasks, such as preparing and coordinating paperwork related to apartment rentals and other administrative duties.
Additional Duties
- Carry out other responsibilities or procedures as assigned to ensure smooth operations of the leasing and property management functions.
Who You Are
- Prior experience in property management, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (Property Vista)
- Ability to close sales by effectively presenting and selling available units to prospective tenants.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and appointments effectively.
- Ability to highlight key selling points of the property, emphasizing the benefits of living in the community to persuade prospective residents to lease.
- Ability to identify potential issues or objections from prospects and offer solutions to overcome them.
